Cavite police chief left for US sans permission

-
Now stranded in the United States following the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, the police director of Cavite faces an investigation when he gets home.

The reason: Senior Superintendent Samuel Pagdilao left last Sept. 9 for San Francisco aboard Philippine Airlines flight PR 104 without official permission from his higher-ups.

Sources claimed Pagdilao went to Los Angeles from San Francisco for a meeting with Cavite Gov. Ayong Maliksi and Sen. Panfilo Lacson.

Under Philippine National Police regulations, a police official should seek official permission from higher authorities before leaving the country for vacation or official mission.

The STAR
tried to contact Pagdilao through his cellular phone but failed.
