ILIGAN CITY A hard-hitting radioman in Butuan City, who has reportedly received death threats, has been reported missing by his colleagues since yesterday morning.
Radioman Noli Ebarle, alias Noel Esin, program director of dxBC RMN Butuan City, received an envelope containing three live caliber. 45 bullets while visiting this city last week.
His colleagues, in a linked broadcast, said Ebarle failed to return to Butuan yesterday, and that they feared that he was abducted.
dxBC reported that they last made contact with Ebarle yesterday morning when the bus he was riding in made a stopover in Gingoog City.
His colleagues said they heard him saying "Agay! Agay! (Ouch! Ouch!)" before his cellular phone lost its signal. An hour later, they said they got a text message from his phone which stated "Naa sa among mga kamot si Noli (Noli is in our hands)."
