Agents of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) arrested two alleged gunrunners and seized 77 rifles and pistols during a raid in Tanza, Cavite last Friday.
Chief Superintendent Nestorio Gualberto, CIDG chief, said they are now checking the possible contacts of suspects Angelito and Federico Eridao in Cebu.
The raid on the Eridaos house was staged after an undercover agent was able to buy a caliber .38 revolver for P2,500 from them.
The Eridaos, police said, also served as gunsmiths of gun-for-hire groups in Cavite. Jaime Laude
