Cavite bank robbed, security guard shot

CARMONA, Cavite A security guard was shot and wounded after at least seven unidentified armed men robbed a Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company (Metrobank) branch at Barangay Bangkal here of still undetermined amount shortly before noon yesterday.
Chief Inspector John Bulalacao, Carmona chief of police, identified the wounded security guard as Vicente Saret Jr. of Puritan Security Agency, who sustained a gunshot wound on his leg.
Bulalacao said the robbers struck at about 11:15 a.m. yesterday or minutes after a police patrol car left the crime vicinity. The robbers took only three minutes to disarm guard-on-duty and pulling off the heist before a number of bank employees and customers. Rene Alviar
