Mindanaoans are aware of issues Monsod

People Power Coalition senatorial candidate Solita "Mareng Winnie" Monsod refuted the oppositions claims that it has a tight grip on the voting population of Mindanao and dubbed the assertion as part of a misinformation campaign.
"The declaration of the opposition is totally false. In any country or region, no group can claim a hundred percent backing," said Monsod during her visit to Davao province over the weekend.
According to Monsod, people have the right to choose their preferences. "Each person has his or her own taste and opinion when it comes to candidates and political parties. Nobody or no party has the right to label a place belonging to them exclusively," said Monsod, whose platform is Edukasyon Para sa Bawat Pilipino (Education for All Filipinos).
The respected economist and educator made the observation after she was warmly received together with her ticket mates during the PPC market tours in the province.
Warnings from political rivals that the PPC will experience cold receptions in certain areas of Mindanao did not bother Monsod who was actually unfazed and even challenged by the rumor.
"I was actually raring to go and prove these doomsayers wrong. Walang makapipigil sa sinumang nanggigigil (Nobody can stop someone determined)."
