The young and indefatigable lawyer has sound plans for his town. Bautista, stressed that he will eradicate illegal gambling and drugs in Badoc. Furthermore, Bautista believes that Badoc residents should take pride in their town for it is the birthplace of Juan Luna and that it has been declared as a national historical site. By promoting Badoc nationally, Bautista is certain that he could further help make this town more progressive and in turn increase its revenues.
Among Bautista’s projects for Badoc during his term as mayor from 1988-1992 were: the improvement of the municipal library, farm to market roads, installation of waiting sheds and beautification of Badoc Park.
