February 12, 2001 | 12:00am
A woman caddie of an Antipolo City golf club threatened to file charges of physical injuries today against Marikina Rep. Romeo Candazo and a female companion for allegedly mauling her last Thursday.
The complainant, Perla Benolirao, 33, a caddie at the Forest Hills Golf and Country Club, belied claims that the charges she would file against Candazo and companion Su-zette Lopez were politically motivated.
Her lawyer, Jesus Huertas, showed reporters a medical certificate showing that she suffered contusions on the right knee and bruises on the arm and legs because of the alleged mauling.
She alleged that Candazo threw golf balls at her, while Lopez grabbed her by the neck and hit her with a putter. Non Alquitran
