NBI raids IS plant of fake cigarettes

CABUCAO, Ilocos Sur Members of the National Bureau of Investigation raided the other night a bodega allegedly owned by a former town mayor and confiscated machines and equipment being reportedly used in manufacturing fake cigarettes here.
Armed with search warrants, the NBI agents led by one Atty. Donato hauled off a packing machine and other sophisticated machines believed to be used in manufacturing cigarettes from the bodega of Andre Soller Tan, former town mayor and mother of incumbent town mayor Bendel Tan of this town.
Police could not say anything further about the raid since the Manila-based NBI agents were the ones who conducted the raid before midnight the other night in front of the municipal hall of this town. Myds Supnad
