Survey shows more now believe Estrada is guilty

More and more people nationwide are now finding President Estrada guilty of all four charges he is facing before the Senate impeachment court.
The latest tracking survey by the Data Advisors Inc. (DAI) shows that 89 percent of residents in the National Capital Region and the key cities of Baguio, Cebu and Davao believe that the President should be removed from office by the Senate impeachment court.
The same survey revealed a 52-percent trust rating for Vice President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, 50 percent for former President Fidel Ramos, 34 percent for former President Corazon Aquino and 25 percent for Manila Archbishop Jaime Cardinal Sin.
The survey was conducted among 600 residents of voting age for the third week of the month.
DAI managing director Arturo Valenzuela said the biggest sin of the President in the eyes of the respondents was culpable violation of the Constitution, wherein 91 percent found Mr. Estrada guilty of giving multiple positions to members of his Cabinet.
