OWWA names 43 OCWs with tax refund from Taiwan

The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) has announced that some 43 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Taiwan can now claim their tax refund.
OWWA Administrator Eli Gardiner disclosed yesterday that the Taiwanese government has already approved the refund applications of the OFWs employed by the Hitachi Zosen firm, and remitted the funds to OWWA.
Gardiner called on the OFWs to immediately report to OWWA center in Pasay City, with proper identifications, to claim their checks.
He said OWWA is also coordinating with the MIP International Manpower Service, the recruitment agency of the OFWs, for the workers requirements like bank account number, bank account name, name and address of the bank, among others.
The OFWs who can already claim their tax refund are: Capistrano, Salde Fernandez; Pasco, Adonis Apoderado; Aquino, Michael Mari; Guevara, Saturnino Jr. Mendoza; Cagatin, Jesus Jr. Adame; Samarita, Joel Sapungan; Baon, Reynaldo Timbaga; Silva, Juanito Mabiliangan; Suarez, Nestor Mina; Cuaresma, Larry Fontanilla; Gonzales, Rennald Vargas; Berry, Aron Baliwan; Pura, Ronaldo Salameda; Deloso, Antonino Caslib;
