MANILA, Philippines — After wiping their social media pages clean, American rock band Paramore returned to social media, announcing their upcoming album, "Stop Making Sense" by Talking Heads from A24 Music.

In the video posted on their social media pages, Paramore vocalist Hayley Williams can be seen receiving a package in the mail containing an oversized suit jacket just like the one worn by David Byrne on the original album cover.

"I have a tape that I would like you to listen to,” Hayley told band members Zac Farro and Taylor York.

The video ends with an excerpt from the cover of "Burning Down the House" by Paramore.

The video was directed by AJ Gibboney and Paramore's Zac.

The tribute album to Talking Heads will feature 16 artists who will perform songs from the album "Stop Making Sense" of 1984.

The band first teased the collaboration with Talking Heads at the New Yorker Festival last October 2023.

"All I’m going to say is that it’s completely crazy. It’s incredible. It’s unreal," Hayley told the audience.

"And hopefully, we won’t have to wait too long before we can share it. But we decided it was too special, and we had to wait, and there’s more to this story, and you’ll know everything as soon as we’re able to share it," she added.
