Rose Fostanes still adjusting to celebrity life
MANILA, Philippines- Rose Fostanes was here in the Philippines for almost a week as she takes part in Israel’s “Jazz Festival,” which is part of the Philippines-Israel friendship celebration.
Unlike before when she was still a caregiver, a lot of people would like to meet and see her perform live, which she’s still getting used to.
Her life had an 180 degrees turn after her win at the “X Factor Israel” last year, since there are some things she has lost like privacy.
“Parang mas lalong mahirap ata,” she replied, laughing, when asked if her life is better after winning the competition. The local media was able to interview her through Ambassador Effie Ben Matityau’s invitation to his humble abode.
She also confessed missing being a caregiver, which was her job before joining the competition. Yet her Visa was already changed to Foreign Expert, so she cannot have a different job.
E kaso di na nga pwede,” she said.
Despite that, she’s thankful for the opportunities that came in to her life. She was even honest to say that she prefers to work abroad than here in the Philippines.
“Kasi sa abroad kasi mas malaki ang [kita],” she said. “Ano lang, to be honest, mas malaki [kita] doon.
Aside from her shows abroad, Rose has also released a single titled “Walk Away,” which is now available online. After her tours abroad, she’ll focus on finishing her first album in Israel.
