MANILA, Philippines - OPM fans, rejoice! The band Hale is back!
On his Twitter account on Tuesday, the band's lead vocalist Champ Lui Pio announced that five years after they disbanded, the band is back together.
“I still can't believe it's been five years since I last played with these guys,” Champ said on his post. “Truth is I owe so much of who I am to this band.”

They were first seen to perform again in Chito Miranda's pub 12 Monkeys.
Together with Champ, Roll Martinez, Sheldon Gellada and Omnie Saroca formed the band Hale in 2004. They made popular the hits "The Day You Said Goodnight,” “Kung Wala Ka” and “Kahit Pa.”
In 2010 they disbanded after Champ decided to pursue a solo career as a singer and actor.
Hale fans will no longer stare at the “Blue Sky” again without these boys in the background as Champ announced the release of their comeback single “See You” on January 27.
