SYNOPSIS: On the eve of his birthday, Makuy goes home from an exposure trip. After witnessing the squabble of his parents, he leaves home to search for Carl and to celebrate with him instead. On his way to find his partner, truth unfolds. Makuy is one of the increasing number of victims of enforced disappearance in the country. He is one of those imprisoned in a society oblivious of justice and truth.
FILMMAKER PROFILE: Zig Dulay is a native from Isabela province. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts major in Journalism and minor in Broadcasting at University of the Philippines Baguio. He is currently completing his master’s degree, MA Araling Pilipino (Malikhaing Pagsulat at Pelikula), in University of the Philippines Diliman. His latest screenplays include Posas (Shackled) directed by Lawrence Fajardo, QWERTY by Ed Lejano, Ad Ignorantiam by Armando Lao and Ekstra directed by Jeffrey Jeturian.
