“With a whole of nation approach in battling poverty, we have better and more sustainable chances of really making a difference in the lives of our QCitizens,” dagdag pa nito.

Kabilang sa government signatories sa MOU ang Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), National Housing Authority (NHA), National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation (NHMFC), Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC), Home Development Mutual Fund or Pag-IBIG Fund, Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), at Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP).

Habang ang signatories naman sa pribadong sektor ay ang PLDT - SMART Foundation, Smart Communications, Inc., Manila Electric Company (MERALCO), One Meralco Foundation (OMF), Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad), Metro Pacific Health Tech Corporation (MPHTC), and Premier 101 Healthcare Management Inc. (Premier 101).

“On the part of the DHSUD, we will offer not just housing [units] but what we call decent ‘human settlements’,” ayon naman kay DHSUD secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar.
