13-anyos sa QC patay sa saksak ng menor na kaklase; DepEd nakiramay

MANILA, Philippines — Ikinalulungkot ng Department of Education - National Capital Region (DepEd-NCR) ang balitang pagkamatay ng isang estudyante sa Culiat High School, Quezon City matapos pagsasakin ng kanyang kamag-aral, Biyernes.

Ayon sa kagawaran, nangyari ang insidente bandang 5:45 a.m. sa loob ng eskwelahan kanina. Ang biktima ay 13-anyos habang 15-anyos naman ang suspek, sabi ng ulat ng The STAR.

"We are deeply saddened and disturbed that violent incident such as this happened among our students inside the school which is supposed to be a safe place," sabi ng DepEd-NCR.

"As reported by the Schools Division Office of Quezon City, the involved CICL student is already in custody of the authorities."

Pagtitiyak pa nila, sumailalim na sa psychological first aid ang mga estudyanteng nakakita ng naturang insidente.

Una nang lumabas na nagkaroon diumano ng "hindi pagkakaunawaan" dahil sa selos ang dalawa, bagay na dumulo raw sa pananaksak.

Handa naman daw ang DepEd-NCR, sa pamamagitan ng Schools Division Office of Quezon City at Culiat High School, na magbigay ng ayuda sa pamilya ng biktima.

"The Regional Interim Learners Rights and Protection Section in coordination with the Division Child Protection Unit and the School Child Protection Committee shall come up with appropriate intervention mechanisms for the CICL student and shall facilities for his continous education through alternative modes," dagdag pa nila.

Magsasagawa rin daw ng karagdagang stress debriefing sessions sa mga estudyante at gurong nakakita ng pamamaslang.

Hinihikayat naman ng ahensya ang mga administrador, guro, non-teaching personnel, magulang, estudyante at lahat ng stakeholders na makipagtulungan upang palakihing payapa at responsableng miyembro ng komunidad ang mga bata. — James Relativo at may mga ulat mula kay Cristina Chi
