MANILA, Philippines — Pansamantalang tigil-operasyon muna ang Metro Rail Transit-Line 3 (MRT-3), Light Rail Transit Lines (LRT) 1 at 2 , at Philippine National Railways (PNR) ngayong Miyerkules dahil sa naranasang magnitude 7.0 na lindol sa Abra at Metro Manila ngayong umaga.

"As of 8:55 AM, July 27, 2022 - A stop for safety has been put in place from Baclaran to Balintawak due to earthquake. Please allow additional travel time of about 15 minutes," saad ng Light Rail Manila Corporation kaugnay sa operasyon ng LRT1, Miyerkules.

"To ensure passenger safety, LRT-2 temporarily suspends operations after an earthquake this morning. Our Engineering, Maintainance, and Safety & Security Team are currently conducting inspection to assess the integrity of LRT-2 structures," pahayag naman ng Light Rail Transit Authority.

"At 8:44 a.m. today, earthquake was felt along the MRT-3 mainline. All trains were advised to stop. Assessment of all facilities and systems are on-going," anunsyo din ng Department of Transportation.

"Due to recent earthquake, please be informed that PNR trips for Metro North and Metro South Commuter Service will be temporarily suspended until the tracks are certified available by our Engineering Department," abiso naman ng PNR.

Batay sa inilabas na ulat ng Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, tumama ang lindol 8:83 ng umaga na may lalim na 025 kilometers sa Abra. Naranasan naman ang Intensity IV sa Lungsod ng Quezon.

Update

Sa isang abiso, inanunsyo ng MRT-3 na nagbalik-operasyon na ang lahat ng kanilang tren.
