MANILA, Philippines — Pinag-aaralan ngayon ng National COVID-9 Vaccination Operations Center (NVOC) ang pagsasama na sa CO­VID-19 vaccines sa “routine immunization” ng pamahalaan kada taon para magtuluy-tuloy ang pagbibigay ng proteksyon sa mga Pilipino.

Sinabi ni Department of Health (DOH) Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire na magtutuluy-tuloy ang operasyon ng NVOC at mga vaccination centers sa pagpasok ng bagong administrasyong Marcos.

Opisyal na humalili si Vergeire bilang bagong director ng NVOC kapalit ni Dr. Myrna Cabotaje.

“During this transition period, the National COVID-19 Vaccination Operations Center (NVOC) and vaccination sites will still continue with current operations in administering vaccines and boosters to the eligible population,” ayon kay Vergeire.

“NVOC is also reviewing existing policies to identify possible points for revision, one of which is the integration of covid-19 vaccines to routine immunization,” dagdag niya.

Bukod dito, nakatutok din sila sa pagtiyak na lahat ng datos na mula sa mga operations nila sa mga regional at local vaccination centers ay updated.

Kasama rin ang pagpapalakas sa vaccination sa mga lugar na nananatiling mababa ang vaccination sa “primary at booster series”.
