MANILA, Philippines — Mananatili ang Metro Manila sa ilalim ng Alert Level 1 simula Hulyo 1 hanggang Hulyo 15, ayon sa Malacañang.

Ginawa ni acting presidential spokesperson at Communications Secretary Martin Andanar ang pahayag matapos i-update ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) ang mga matrice na gagamitin para sa Alert Level System, at sa alert level classification ng mga probinsya, highly urba­nized cities (HUCs), independent. component city (ICCs), component cities, at munisipyo.

Aalisin sa bagong ma­trix ang dalawang linggong growth rate sa pagtukoy sa mga “case risk classifi­cation.” Ang case risk classification ay ibabase sa average daily attack rates at kanilang kasalukuyang limitasyon o thresholds.

Gayunman, pinanatili ng IATF ang total bed utilization rate at main metric para health system capacity.

Ang pagtatalaga ng alert level ay ibabase sa revised cross-tabulation ng total bed utilization rate at ave­rage daily attack rate.

Sa kabuuan nasa 85 sa 121 probinsiya, HUCs at ICCs at  166 sa 744 iba pang component cities at municipalities ang inilagay sa Alert Level 1 simula Hulyo 1 hanggang Hulyo 15, ayon sa Malacañang.
