Massive in-city relocation sa informal settlers, ipapatupad ni Joy B sa QC

MANILA, Philippines — Plano ni Quezon City Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte na magkaroon ng malakihang in-city relocation para sa informal settler families (ISF) sa lungsod upang magtaguyod ng garantisadong socialized housing at inclusive growth dito.

“I will do it , the massive in-city relocation. It’s in the   plan. I feel for the poor because what happens is, just because they are poor, they are deprived of the right to stay where they have been residing for years. We will study in what capacity the city will come in and we will do it,” ayon kay  Belmonte sa isang panayam.

 Tiniyak din ni Belmonte na poprotektahan ng lokal   na pamahalaan ang karapatan ng mga taga-QC para magkaroon ng sariling murang pabahay sa pama-magitan ng mahigpit na pagpapatupad ng ordinansa hinggil sa socialized housing.

“Through the Comprehensive Socialized Hou-sing Code of Quezon City, we are able to protect your rights for efficient housing. That’s why if there are any national projects that will affect your vicinities, you have the right to be compensated. And the city government will assure that your rights will not be compromised,” dagdag ni Belmonte.

Anya, nais ng lokal na pamahalaan na personal na hawakan ang mga programang pabahay sa QC  upang matiyak na maayos na naibibigay ang panga-ngailangan ng mga residente.

“Gusto kong ipaglaban na, kung maaari, city govern­ment na ang gumawa ng housing projects dahil kung ang city government, mas mapapaigting natin ang ating pagtutulungan bilang mamamayan at bilang pa-ma­halaan,” ayon kay Belmonte.
