MANILA, Philippines — A five-year-old Malaysian boy was injured after he fell from the railing of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 yesterday.

Muhammad Alif Bin Azizan was taken to the San Juan de Dios Hospital for treatment of a fractured right arm.

Azizan was later discharged from the hospital.

It was not clear how the boy fell from the pre-departure railing to the arrival area at past 8 a.m.

Jess Martinez, head of the Manila International Airport Authority media affairs division, said the boy and his family were bound for Jeddah.

The Philippine Airlines rebooked the boy and his family’s flight for tomorrow.
