Man nabbed for rape of girl, 9

MANILA, Philippines – A man was arrested for allegedly raping a nine-year-old girl in Quezon City on Friday.

Police said Jhon Jhon Laguitan, 20, was drunk when he sexually assaulted the minor at her home.

Laguitan broke into the girl’s room while she was sleeping and molested her, police probers said.

The victim managed to escape from the suspect and run to her mother, who called the police for assistance.

Superintendent Christian de la Cruz, Galas police station commander, said police have filed rape charges against the suspect.
