Korean robbed in Malate

MANILA, Philippines – A Korean man lost his money and mobile phone to three minors who posed as beggars in Malate, Manila early yesterday morning.

Choi Jimoong, 28, temporarily billeted at the Birch Tower along Bocobo street, told Police Officer 3 Jayjay Jacob that he was walking along Remedios Circle at around 3 a.m. when the minors approached him and asked for money.

The suspects suddenly grabbed Jimoong’s bag containing his money and mobile phone.

Jimoong said he gave chase but failed to catch them.
