Estrada thanks INC for support

MANILA, Philippines – Reelectionist Manila mayor thanked the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) for endorsing his candidacy.

In an interview at the sidelines of his miting de avance on Thursday, Estrada said he was informed by an INC official, whom he did not identify, that the group supports him.

“I am very very happy because they have always been there in all my victories since the time that I first ran for mayor of San Juan,” he said.

Estrada said the INC’s support is very important to all candidates like him and he sees an easy victory.

He said the INC also endorsed the candidacy of reelectionist San Juan Mayor Guia Gomez because of her good performance. Gomez has a son by Estrada, Sen. Joseph Victor Ejercito.
