2 fall in Quezon City drug sting

MANILA, Philippines – Two men were arrested during a drug sting in Quezon City early Saturday morning.

Ed Paul Solayao, 28, and Sixto Cristobal, 30, were apprehended in Barangay Central at around 4:30 a.m.

They yielded 20 tablets of the party drug Ecstasy and mobile phones, police said.

Police arranged a drug deal with the suspects near a restaurant along Visayas Avenue prior to their arrest.

The suspects are being held at the Quezon City Police District jail pending the filing of drug charges against them.
