MANILA, Philippines – A fire broke out at a Honda Cars showroom and service center in Quezon City yesterday morning, causing at least P22 million in damages.
The blaze broke out at past 1 a.m., reached fourth alarm and damaged around 40 cars before it was put out at around 3 a.m., city fire marshal Superintendent Jesus Fernandez said.
The damage to the cars was estimated at P20 million while the damage to the building was pegged at P2 million.
Investigators are looking into faulty wiring as the cause of the fire, which reportedly started in the human resources office of the two-story building.
