MANILA, Philippines – Police are searching for two men who robbed a couple of P2 million in cash and valuables in Don Bosco, Parañaque City Tuesday.

Liberato Hilomen, 70, and his wife Estrella, 69, both retired government employees, were hogtied and herded into the bathroom by the robbers, who had gained entry into their house on Tuesday afternoon, said Senior Superintendent Ariel Andrade, city police chief.

The unidentified robbers also took the couple’s gun and Toyota Innova.

The couple reported the robbery to the police a day after the incident. Andrade said they are still trying to find out why it took the victims a day to report the crime.
