MANILA, Philippines - Businessman Domingo “Sandy” de Guzman, one of the alleged masterminds in killing international car racer Enzo Pastor, refused to enter any plea in the murder case filed against him with the Quezon City Regional Trial Court (RTC) yesterday morning.
RTC Branch 85 acting presiding Judge Luisito Cortez entered a not guilty plea for De Guzman – the alleged lover of Enzo’s widow, Dahlia Guerrero-Pastor – during his arraignment.
De Guzman faces a murder charge and Guerrero-Pastor a parricide case.
Cortez set hearings for De Guzman’s case on Feb. 2 and March 1, 2016.
De Guzman was arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation-National Capital Region in Dasmariñas, Cavite on Dec. 3 while Guerrero-Pastor remains at large.
Guerrero-Pastor reportedly left the country a few days after her husband’s murder.
