Invent School Program, inilunsad

MANILA, Philippines – Kapit-bisig na naipatupad ni Quezon City Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte kasama ang Department of Science and Technology- National Capital Region at QC public schools  ang  ‘Invent School Program’ na mag­bibigay ng dagdag na kaalaman sa mga mag- aaral at guro tungkol sa Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Protection.

Sa ilalim ng programa, ang mga estudyante at mga guro sa mga  public schools sa lungsod ay sasalang sa dalawang araw na seminar-workshop  upang tulungan ang mga itong makalikha ng mga ideas sa imbensiyon at makalikha ng enterprises na may  social impact.

Layunin din ng programa na makabuo ng young inventors association at clubs na magpapalago sa mga inventive activities sa mga public schools at maenganyo ang mga mag-aaral na pumasok sa science-related courses para maging mga inventors,engineers at scientist sa hinaharap.

“This project also aims to provide opportunity to tap the participants ingenuity and develop their creative thinking and inventiveness among student participants and encourage them to pursue activities leading to creativeness in solving problems in industrial applications that would address an issue in QC”,  dagdag ni Belmonte.

May 10 hanggang 12 Public high schools o apat na mag-aaral mula sa Grades 8 at 9 at isang guro kada paaralan ang kasali sa naturang programa.
