MANILA, Philippines - The Quezon City government will unveil on Monday an interactive museum that will showcase the city’s rich history and transformation over the years.
Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista and Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte will lead the opening of QCX (Quezon City Experience), the first interactive socio-cultural and green building compliant museum in the country, at the Quezon Memorial Circle (QMC).
“As an experiential museum, QCX also provides visitors a chance to interact with the displays and allow them to take selfies in each gallery or even shoot and watch themselves on video,” the city government said.
The city previously opened the Quezon Heritage House and the newly renovated President Manuel Quezon Museum, also inside the QMC.
Earlier, Belmonte – the city’s tourism czar – described QCX as a proof of the city government’s continuing effort to make Quezon City the “country’s cultural, tourism and entertainment capital.”
