Korean beats up partner

Robertzon Ramirez - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines – A Korean man was arrested for allegedly beating his 26-year-old partner in Quezon City on Friday morning.

Police said Lee Chang Jae, 26, will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004.

His older brother, Lee Jeong Jae, 30, is also facing charges of physical injuries. Lee Jeong remains at large and is being hunted by the police, case investigator Police Officer 3 Rose Cambri said.

Cambri said Lee Chang was nabbed based on the complaint of his Korean partner, Madonna Hamaguchi, 26, a housekeeper.

Prior to the incident, the siblings allegedly checked into a hotel in Quezon City with two unidentified women.

Unknown to them, Hamaguchi was following them.

Upon reaching the hotel room, Hamaguchi reportedly saw Lee Chang naked.

A quarrel ensued between them until the suspect and his brother took turns in beating Hamaguchi before she was forced to get out of the room.
