Evelyn Macairan - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Bureau of Customs (BOC) recently seized 18 grams of shabu, with a street value of P90,000, concealed in two toy pony figurines bound for Iceland.

In a statement issued yesterday, the BOC said it acted on a tip that a parcel at the DHL warehouse at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport was said to contain prohibited items.

The sender was identified as Glen Castro of GSIS Village in Quezon City while the recipient was Leonila Hife Jonsson, whose address was listed as Engjavelur 12, 221 Hanarf Jurdor, Iceland.
