Ramil Bajo, Rey Galupo - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Three persons were arrested over the weekend in connection with the killing of a 20-year-old pregnant woman in Malabon City on Aug. 16.

Cheryl Lomoloy, 39; Domingo Manilisa, 47; and Lemuel dela Vega, 46, were neighbors of Pamela Donaire, according to Chief Inspector Reynaldo Medina, Malabon investigation and detection chief.

Donaire was found dead of stab wounds in her rented house in Barangay Tugatog before noon on Aug. 16. Her partner, Raymund Serafin, was working for a construction firm in Bacolod City.

Medina said witnesses told police they overheard the suspects planning to rob Donaire, who had just moved in.

The three were charged with murder.
