Anti-dengue drive sa Quezon City pinalakas ng DOH, public schools

MANILA, Philippines – Higit pang pinalakas ng Quezon City government ang kanilang kampanya para malabanan ang pagkalat ng sakit na dengue sa lunsod.

Ito ay makaraang makipagkasundo ang QC health department sa pagitan ng Department of Health (DOH) at ang mga QC public schools para sa pagpapalaganap ng kampanya kontra dengue.

Kaugnay nito, pinamunuan nina QC Mayor Herbert Bautista at QC Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte  ang paglulunsad sa Esteban Abada Elementary School ng  Dengue Mission Buzz 2015 na revival ng 4 o’clock habit sa pag-iwas sa dengue mosquitos na karaniwang lumilitaw tuwing alas 4 ng hapon  at dumadami mula buwan ng Hulyo at Agosto.

Ang  Dengue Mission Buzz 2015 na may temang  “Linisin ang Kapaligiran, Dengue ay Maiwasan,”   ay kinatampukan ng parada at dance competition sa pagitan ng mga mag-aaral sa mga  public schools sa QC tulad ng Sto. Cristo Elementary School, San Francisco Elementary High School, Bagong Silangan Elementary School, Batasan Hills National High School, Quirino Elementary School, Quirino High School, Diosdado Macapagal Elementary School, Don A. Roces High School, Kaligayahan Elementary School, San Bartolome High School, Bonifacio Memorial Elementary School, Culiat High School at host Esteban Abada Elementary School.

Sa kasalukuyan, may 1,958 dengue hemorrhagic cases na naitala ang QC  mula January 1 hanggang  August 8 ng taong ito.

Ang Bgy. Holy Spirit, Batasan Hills, Fairview, Commonwealth at Greater Lagro ang naitalang may pinakamataas na bilang ng kaso ng dengue sa QC.
