MANILA, Philippines - The University of the Philippines (UP) has announced the opening of the bidding process for two projects in its campus in Diliman, Quezon City amounting to over P13 million.

In two separate announcements yesterday, UP called for interested parties for construction management services and for renovation works amounting to P2.038 million and P11.256 million, respectively.

The construction management deal is for the proposed completion of the Department of Mining, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering of the university’s College of Engineering.

Interested consultants were asked to submit their eligibility documents before Aug. 27.

The project should be completed within 14 months following the award of the contract.

The renovation works, on the other hand, will be at the College of Social Work and Community Development.

Bid documents are already available at the office of the campus architect. A pre-bid conference is set on Aug. 20.

The project must be completed 180 days following the grant of the contract.
