MANILA, Philippines - Two men wearing Philippine National Police uniform broke into a restaurant in Quezon City and held up four customers at dawn yesterday.

Robbed were Tim Tiongson, 38; Robert del Rosario, 35; Maria Sarah Coronado, 38, and Jamaica Ponce, 31.

The victims were dining in a restaurant in Barangay Sacred Heart when the suspects, who posed as police officers, arrived and at gunpoint divested the victims of their cash and valuables, Kamuning police station commander Superintendent Limuel Obon said.

Obon said the suspects escaped in a Nissan Sentra sedan toward Timog Avenue.

The Kamuning police is checking the identities of the suspects whose faces were captured by a closed-circuit television camera.
