MANILA, Philippines - An alleged drug pusher included in the order of battle of the Valenzuela City police was nabbed in an operation over the weekend.
Arnold Rivera was arrested after anti-narcotics operatives spotted him in front of a supermarket along Gen. Luis street in Barangay Paso de Blas at around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, city police chief Senior Superintendent Rhoderick Armamento said.
Police said the suspect was responsible for the proliferation of shabu in the area.
Armamento said Rivera was about to escape when the police officers cornered him.
The suspect yielded a coin purse containing shabu.
