MANILA, Philippines - Eleven passengers were injured when a jeepney turned over in Barangay Pansol, Quezon, City yesterday.
The brakes failed on the jeepney, driven by Rodelio Ferera, as he approached a zigzag road in Barangay Pansol at around 11 a.m., according to Fe Precilla, the barangay’s desk officer.
At least 22 passengers were in the jeepney when it turned over, she said. The injured passengers as well as Ferera were taken to the Quirino Memorial Hospital in Quezon City for treatment of minor injuries.
