MANILA, Philippines - A former policeman was arrested in a drug sting in Quezon City Saturday afternoon.
Edgar Jusayan was nabbed along with his cohort Michael Pusing after they allegedly sold two sachets of shabu to a poseur buyer in Barangay Greater Fairview, Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director Senior Superintendent Joel Pagdilao said.
Jusayan, who held the rank of Police Officer 1, had been absent without official leave since 2007, according to QCPD Station 5 commander Superintendent Dennis de Leon.
De Leon said the suspects were among the 10 men arrested by the police in its intensified anti-crime campaign in Fairview and Lagro.
