EPD’s most wanted falls
MANILA, Philippines - Police arrested the most wanted person in the eastern part of Metro Manila in an operation in Valenzuela City Saturday.
Crisanto Maguddatu did not resist arrest when cornered by policemen along Felisa street, Barangay Marulas at about 10:40 a.m., Senior Superintendent Ronald Lee, head of the Intelligence Group’s counter intelligence division, said.
Lee said Maguddatu is listed as the most wanted person by the Eastern Police District.
He said the suspect is also included in the 10 most wanted persons of the National Capital Region Police Office.
Maguddatu’s arrest was based on a warrant issued by Judge Nilo Diaz of the Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 39 for robbery.
Authorities stormed the suspect’s home in Valenzuela following a tip from an informant.
Maguddatu is now under the custody of the Pasig City police.
