Pa killed by daughter’s molester

MANILA, Philippines - A man who came to his daughter’s rescue died after being punched by the girl’s alleged molester.

The 61-year-old man had no other external injuries when he fell unconscious after being punched by Teddy Pena in Barangay Alicia, Quezon City on Sunday night, Police Officer 2 Julius Raz said.

The victim’s daughter told police she was about to enter their house when Pena grabbed her and started groping her.

She shouted for help and her father was about to confront the suspect, who punched him in the face. The girl’s father hit his head on the pavement and lost consciousness. 

Village watchmen came and arrested the suspect.
