MANILA, Philippines - A bus terminal supervisor, who allegedly supplies illegal drugs to the firm’s drivers, was arrested during a drug bust at the terminal in Quezon City yesterday afternoon.

Noel Fallorina, 50, terminal master of Jac Liner, was arrested during the sting at past 3 p.m., said Quezon City Police District director Senior Superintendent Joel Pagdilao.

According to Pagdilao, Fallorina is also president of the bus firm’s drivers’ and conductors’ union.

One of the firm’s drivers tipped off police that Fallorina had been selling illegal drugs to drivers and conductors, Pagdilao said.

A team led by Senior Inspector Roberto Razon staged the sting, which involved buying shabu with a street value of P1,000.

Fallorina allegedly used illegal drugs as he consummated the transaction, Pagdilao said.

Razon said several sachets said to contain shabu was confiscated from the suspect.
