Enzo’s family wants widow to return ashes
MANILA, Philippines - The family of slain car racer Ferdinand “Enzo” Pastor is asking for custody of his ashes for them to remember him on All Saints’ Day.
Most of the ashes of Enzo are with his widow, Daliah, who is also accused of masterminding his murder.
Now that Daliah is missing, Enzo’s parents and sister do not know where the ashes are.
Tom, his wife Remy, and Enzo’s sister Vanessa went to Camp Karingal on Wednesday to visit Quezon City Police District director Senior Superintendent Joel Pagdilao.
According to Enzo’s family, most of his ashes remain in Daliah’s possession following his cremation. Smaller portions of his cremated remains were distributed to family members, who now keep lockets containing the ashes.
Daliah and her alleged lover, Domingo de Guzman III, are accused of masterminding his murder. This was based on the initial confession of alleged gunman Police Officer 2 Edgar Angel.
Since she was implicated in the June 12 ambush, Daliah has gone missing.
The complaints against Daliah and De Guzman are under preliminary investigation by the Department of Justice. Daliah is facing a parricide case while De Guzman is facing a complaint for murder.
Both Daliah and De Guzman have denied involvement in the killing.
