MANILA, Philippines - Eleven persons were arrested by policemen in Quezon City during a drug sting yesterday, said Quezon City Police District director Senior Superintendent Joel Pagdilao.
The 11 suspects were arrested along Ilagan street in Barangay Paltok at past 2 p.m., Pagdilao said.
Zaldy Espejon, 50; Maryjane Abalos, 24, and Oscar Magtngob, 54, were arrested after allegedly selling 25 grams of shabu in a house.
The policemen, led by Senior Inspector Roberto Razon, also seized a .38 caliber revolver and a digital weighing scale.
The police team also arrested eight others caught engaging in a drug session nearby: Raquel Riomato, 48; Salvacion Corpuz, 36; Rhea Carilimdiliman, 35; Henry Arquiola, 36; Daniel Solom, 38; Angelo Manansala, 52, and two other still unnamed suspects.
Pagdilao said policemen recovered 20 grams of shabu from the scene of the drug session.
