QCPD hunts down 130 most wanted criminals
MANILA, Philippines - The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) is tracking down more than a hundred most wanted personalities in the city in an effort to reduce crimes.
QCPD director Senior Superintendent Joel Pagdilao said a total of 130 most wanted criminals are believed to be behind the spate of crimes in the city.
“These wanted persons will be our priority in the QCPD’s anti-crime drive,” he said.
Pagdilao said he ordered his station commanders to draw their respective top 10 most wanted criminals for immediate neutralization.
QCPD’s 12 police stations cover the areas of La Loma, Masambong, Talipapa, Novaliches, Fairview, Batasan, Cubao, Project 4, Anonas, Kamuning, Galas and Libis.
Pagdilao said a police unit based at Camp Karingal came up with another list of 10 more wanted criminals who have pending arrest warrants for robbery, theft, illegal drugs and other crimes.
The QCPD chief believes that the arrest of these criminals would result in the reduction of crimes.
