MANILA, Philippines - The body of a man who bore more than 50 stab wounds was discovered in Sta. Mesa, Manila yesterday morning.
Police said the victim, described to be between 25 and 27 years old and about 5’5” tall, was seen on a closed-circuit television camera being dumped from a passenger jeepney at the corner of Kasama and Alegria streets at around 4:30 a.m.
Senior Police Officer 3 Glenzor Vallejo of the Manila Police District homicide section said footage of the CCTV showed three men dumping the body in the area.
Vallejo said a resident managed to get the plate number of the vehicle.
