Ramil Bajo, Rey Galupo - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - A Chinese-Filipino man yielded some P3.4 million worth of shabu in a drug sting in a fastfood restaurant in Monumento, Caloocan City yesterday afternoon.

Mike Tiu, 36, of Barangay Lucia, Masantol, Pampanga, was arrested by operatives of the Northern Police District’s anti-drug unit at past 1 p.m., said NPD director Chief Superintendent Edgar Layon.

Tiu refused to talk to reporters when he was presented to media.

Police recovered from Tiu two plastic bags containing the illegal drugs.

Layon said the drug bust was conducted in coordination with the Malabon police.

He said an undercover agent from the Malabon police initially contacted the suspect for a drug deal.
