MANILA, Philippines – A man was arrested for allegedly selling 200 ecstasy tablets, with a street value of P.4 million, in a drug bust along C-5 Road in Taguig City last night.

Investigators are looking into reports that Alexander dela Cruz, 41, sold the tablets for as much as P2,000 per tablet to “partygoers” in Bonifacio Global City, said Chief Inspector Roque Merdegia, spokesman of the Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operations Task Force.

Merdegia said the tablets bore lightning bolt marks. He added that police officers are also checking whether Dela Cruz only served as a courier for the real supplier of the tablets.
