PDEA probes Israel-bound shabu

MANILA, Philippines -  The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) is looking into the case of parcels of shabu bound for Israel intercepted recently, an official said yesterday.

The two parcels containing 120 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu, bound for Israel were intercepted by PDEA operatives in a warehouse of an express courier service in Pasig City last Sept. 9.

According to PDEA director general Arturo Cacdac, the identities and information of the consignees and the senders indicated in the parcels are now the subject of investigation and validation.
