MANILA, Philippines - The Las Piñas City government has lined up 45 infrastructure projects this year to speedup the delivery of basic services to residents and open up gateways for more business opportunities in the city.
Mayor Vergel Aguilar said among these priority projects are the four-story 26-classroom school building in Barangay Almanza 1; two-story daycare center in Pilar Village; and another two-story daycare center in Barangay Talon 1 and the repair and rehabilitation of city-run Dr. Filemon C. Aguilar Memorial College.
He said the additional school buildings and pre-school centers are aimed at addressing the growing number of students in the city’s public schools, while road network construction and improvements hasten economic growth.
